WILLIAM ALBERT FOLLICK

Source: Crawfordsville Journal-Review 14 July 1936

William Albert Follick, son of Isaac and Minerva Fletcher Follick, was born on a farm 5 miles south of Waynetown, Dec 30, 1857. He grew to manhood on the farm where he was born and where he resided with his parents for many years. He and his father and mother moved to Waynetown in Nov. 1893, at which place his parents passed away many years ago. Since that time he had maintained his home in Waynetown and for several years his brother and wife resided with him. He had been enjoying good health for a man of his age until a week before his passing. Monday evening, at near 7:30, he went to his barn to attend his evening chores and while pumping water was suddenly stricken and passed away without a moment's notice at the age of 78 years, 6 months 13 days. He had lived a long life within a short distance of where he was born and was known by a large circle of friends. He was very much devoted to his father and mother and after the passing of his father he was a constant companion of his mother, complying with all her wishes and needs for a comfortable and happy home. He will be much missed and mourned by two brothers, John of Waynetown and Marion of near Waynetown; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Gray and Mrs. Alice Smith of near Waynetown; many other relatives and host of friends. Truly a good man has gone unto his reward and may peace be unto his departed soul. -- typed by kbz - thanks muches to Connie W for sending this obit.
